Dci charging extra 23 per cent vat and ripping us off

    Hi lads wondering if this is normal.

    And what can i do about it.

    I have a business with 4 vans on the road

    Say i top up 100 euro at pump and vat is included at this . When i get billed by dci they charge we 100 net plus vat at 23 per cent .so its 123 gross that comes out that i pay by billed invoice

    The following month then i get to claim back my vat so still costs me 100 euro plus their charge for using the card.

    Surely this cant be right and what can we do about it. This is a total rip off whats the point in having the card.

    With the prices so high at the minute its crazy has anyone any experience with this or know whats happening here.

    If you fill up with €100 on the card, the net charge on your invoice will be €81.30. They will then add 23% to bring your total payable to €100.

    You then claim back the VAT of €18.70.

    You need to check your invoices more carefully.

    I know mate everyone them has been off there charging me 100 net plus 23 per cent vat so the invoice is 123 even though im only putting 100 diesel in.


    Im on to a manager now about it.

    Has anyone got a dci account with the proper ammounts on it so i can use for a refence even in lsst month and just black out your details.
