Just curiousity following something that came up in conversation with a colleague today.
Say one was equipped with means to haul 30k litres of road diesel from one of the terminals at the ports and then facilities to store the same amount or more on site, would there be much of a saving per litre, allowing for cost of haulage of course?
Would anyone have any idea how much below pump price diesel at the terminals is?
I'm aware that some of the bigger suppliers will give a discount for orders above 10k litres / month but more curious as to the margins available at each step
