    Hi All

the front of my house is a sun trap and the red bricks are very faded. I came accross a UK company called dye brick who sell brick tinting solutions. They've been around for 30 odd years and if their website is anything to go by they get fantastic results. Bring colour back into the brick without painting over them. Anyone ever use them or similar? I've ordered a sample to test it out. ive spotted a few commercial building in dublin that must have used some kind of brick dye to great effect. The Dean Hotel comes to mind where rthey have darkened the exterior..

    Any opinions? thanks

Got a sample of this stuff and here is what it looks like.. the light is very strong in this corner so pictures don't fully do it justice..thoughts?

It won't stop the efflorescence but there isn't a huge amount of brick so of it need redoing in time it's not a big job
