I've tried and tried to sign up via a cheaper country but am failing.

However, I got the 7 day trial and it's not worth it tbh.

i thought this was free with a sky q account? I've tried signing up on the tv a couple of times, but it takes me to a sky cinema subsription page....

No need for yet another streaming service. People should avoid this and it will be dead in a year and it will send a signal to the market that there are enough streaming services as it is.

It seems to be a different app and log in details for each region, unlike Disney+ for example.

I’ve a US account and app and it doesn’t work for the Irish/UK site and the app shows as a separate app in the App Store.

I disagree! I think this will end up being another successful streaming service because paramount have a huge catalogue of movies which will end up on their service and they have big series like star trek and yellowstone. Might be rubbish in the uk & Ireland right now but give it time I reckon the catalogue will end up being huge! I'm thinking more 2023 when they release in more countries it will get better. But for now I will give it a miss.

Nothing on XBox or Playstation Store yet...

I can see the offer for 30 days on XBox ultimate on the XBox console front page - but that I think is just to get an account - no actual xbox app for Ireland yet? Or has anyone got a link to it?

my 2017 Samsung has nothing in its appstore either (Disney+ and Netflix are there)

I have an account with paramount+, with smartdns I get us content, bout 5 shillings a month,kids use it for mtv and nick programs, I use it for the odd movie here and there. Champions league & europa etc all on it too, cheap for the steady footy streams on all my fire sticks

I was able to sign up to Irish paramount+ through India for 450 india rupee (€ 5.45)

I know that makes no sense since paramount+ isn't available in India but I tried signing up through Argentina, Brazil, Mexico but it wouldn't let me. It's basically the same way you sign up to Disney plus. First download the paramount+ app then Set up a new Google account with a payment card and an Indian address. I logged out of all other accounts accept the Indian one. Make sure you are seeing india rupee in the playstore the open the paramount plus app and sing up through the app. No VPN needed to sign up or watch. You won't be able to sign in to USA paramount+ even with a VPN just Irish paramount+ Ireland.
