Downpipe Drain

With the heavy rain the last few weeks and this evening, I have noticed the downpipe on the gable end of our house, the water coming down and out is half missing the shore and shooting out causing a big pool of water to start forming. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do and what piece or connection of guttering I should be looking to get so the pipe goes straight down into the shore?

Easiest option is to get a gully trap riser, remove the grill and slide it up around the pipe and down into the trap. It will obviously sit a bit higher than the ground level but will at least stop the water flowing out.
It is annoying when the drain is placed too close to the wall.
