Not every media outlet can afford to send a reporter to every court case, especially minor ones. So they reply on agencies who specialise in court reporting. The agency has a reporter in the court, the other media outlets buy the story to publish. It's a standard media practice and very commonplace. As for "the nutritive", you'll notice that such reports generally stick to the bare-bones facts - the who, the what, the when, of the case. They're not "instructed" to publish it - it's content that they purchase to publish. If they don't want to run the story, or they want to send their own reporter, they have those options.

CCC Nuacht is probably the biggest such service in Ireland:

That particular report seems to be written by Alan Erwin, who (from a quick Google) appears to be a freelance court reporter. So perhaps he attended the court, and then sold the story on to the various media outlets. Only the Mirror seems to have credited him personally.
