iPad Pro or iPad Air?

Looking at getting myself an iPad.

Looked at the refurbs but I want to get an M1 model.

The air is M1 but only gets 64GB of memory. I don’t think this is enough so an upgrade to 256 brings it to within less than €50 of a pro which starts at 128GB.

So the question is which is better?

Usage would be 90% entertainment. Maybe a little business thrown in.

If it’s for Netflix Disney etc. don’t bother with a M1 and get a refurb. These apps don’t need the latest M1 chip and you’ll save yourself a good few quid.

I’m In the process of upgrading everything this year, generally keep devices for 5-7 years so would prefer to go into M1 with it.

I was similar to you in wanting to get an iPad Air. 64GB was too small so settled on 256GB but the price difference between that model and the 128GB Pro was a no brainer for me as the Pro a nice 120hz refresh rate.

This....the screen on the pro will be a night and day difference between that and the Air.

I have the older Pro 12.9 and i absolutely love it.
