Sorry if this has been asked before but I cannot seem to get a straight answer anywhere..

I have a full B and AM liscence

I have completed a theory test recently in order to get a BE learner permit.

Will I have to do a motor cycle theory test to apply for an A learner permit ??

Had the B license for years, went for the Bike permit and needed to do the theory test for it. A few years later went for the BE permit and had to sit the theory test again.

Was told I needed to do the tests as the A test is different to the B test and the the BE theory test was required as I never did the theory test for the B licence as I got mine pre theory tests.

So, chances are you need to do the theory test again for the bike.

Your 100% correct. I had to do the theory test. Virtually identical to the one for the BE license, coupel of ones re handling specifically reference motor bike instead of car but answers were common sense..

    Absolute money making exercise..
