Indicators permanently on

    This is something I've started seeing lately. Usually on an old modded BMW or Volkswagen. I don't even know what happens when they need to indicate. Am I missing something, just getting old, or is this the stupidest **** "trend" ever?

    It's an American thing I think, they use amber parking lights. Lads over here just wiring their indicators on as park lights. Look pretty sh!t unless you've proper us amber park lights

    My BMW has the "Guide lights" in the bumper. They're always on and are orange. Similar to older Volvo's had them. I obviously do still have my indicators as normal though

    It's easily coded on VW's I believe, so people often turn them on via software.

    On "world cars" (eg: E60 (2005+) BMW 5 Series, New Honda Civic, loads of Volvos), the manufacturers chose to use the same lighting modules between US and EU cars, so we end up with permanent orange side marker lamps.
