Best shirts to wear untucked

I am usually an XL shirt size (sometime L)

The issue I have is I like to wear shirts untucked but find anything that is well fitting on top is too long past the wait. the back of the shirt is down past my ass.

I much prefer when the shirt is just a couple of inches past the waist line.

As a result I get nearly all of my shirt altered which is fine sometimes but other the finish isn't perfect and would prefer to remove this step.

I have broad shoulders and big chest which is why the XL is needed

Does anybody else have this issue and have you found a brand that can be worn straight off the shelf ?

    There's a website called untuckit.com.

No idea if they're any good but they specialise in shirts to be worn untucked.

Only Polo Shirts with an asymmetric tail should be left untucked.

Sarcasm no? I only wear a shirt tucked in if in a suit. I don't wear suit shirts for casual wear. A properly-fitted shirt for casual wear would not be rarely be tucked these days.

OP, I found some nice ones recently in Massimo Dutti (owned by Zara I think) and have a mix of Hollister, Zara, TH, Boss, plus some not well known brands. A lot depends on your body shape, you are a L/XL but could be rugby build or other type. A normal shirt with no fit tend to look baggy if you are not tall but look ok if you are taller, otherwise it's a gamble.

I am 174cm and medium but have a fat neck from being more broad. Body shape is a few kgs overweight but fall into an athletic or tailored fit. I can get a Medium in one brand and another medium with the same fit in another brand, one will fit well and the other won't. You really need to go in and try them on or order a good few online, try them on and send back what you don't like.

Wasn't really being sarcastic, just a sartorial truism.
