Registering Imported Camervan, wrong weight

Recently bought and registered a Campervan, just received the registration cert which states vehicle max permissible weight 2500kg...This is obviously wrong and I assume an error by the NCT surveyor imputing a wrong weight during Vehicle survey... This vehicle is a 3500kg motorhome and was registered as such in UK(NI)

What do I do to rectify this?

Not wishing to sound trite but call the Dept of Transport. There's a 2 minutes intro but you'll eventually get there

How do you know it's wrong? Is the plate on the vehicle different? Camper vans come in many shapes and sizes so it's reasonable to assume it could be a Berlingo converted just as it might be an iveco daily.

There should be a VIN plate like this https://identification-plates.com/en/fiat/38-fiat-id-plate-n2-fiat-vin-tag.html

There may also be one with the name of the final stage builder, for example, HYMER, Autotrail, or whoever's name is on the camper. That plate supersedes the original and is the legal one, the top weight (GVW) in the list of weights on your vehicle's VIN plate is what should be on the registration documents.
