Having a laptop shipped to NI and collecting in person

    Hi,

I was wondering if there's a way to buy a laptop from ebay UK without incurring in customs charges.

Recently I explored a few options, including a click&collect feature offered by ebay, but to no avail.

I've now found two interesting websites which do forwarding of items from UK to Ireland.

One of them is deliverme.ie (someone else mentioned it on this forum) and actually has a warehouse in Newry from which I could collect the item myself. Would that work, as long as the seller accepts to ship to their address?

The other website is forward2me.com, based in a tax-free island of the UK, but I'd have to add extra costs for shipping the laptop to Ireland. Has a 4.5 rating on trustpilot, and the only complaint I found about them via a quick search was from someone who had bought an item from Germany, which is not the case for me.

    Thanks.
