Hi all, advice needed please. I need to drive Dublin to Gort on Saturday (205km) then Gort to Camus on Sunday (95km). Back to Dublin (250km) Sunday evening. I only have a 52kwh battery, range 300 ish. Can anybody recommend a fast charger in Galway that is likely to be available on Saturday evening / Sunday am please?!!! I am staying in Gort on Saturday night, I can see 2no. 22kwh chargers at the train station but guess it’s a lottery as to these being available!!

Train station ones are nearly always empty. Good shot at those. I've never seen anyone parked there.

Lidl in Knocknacarra doesn’t get much use when I pass it by (50kW).

Can you not use the granny charger overnight in Gort?

Thank you! Has anybody any experience of the Galway plaza, Kiltullagh?. Looks like there’s a fast charger there. I’m in a B&B in Gort, not sure if I’ll be able to use the granny cable overnight, I fear not having spoken to the owner today!!

I'd plan for overnight at the train station in Gort https://www.plugshare.com/location/35089. If that fails plan B would be a stop at the 75 kW EasyGo on the way to Camus https://www.plugshare.com/location/359315

Coming back you have plenty of options. I'd personally push it for Athlone as it is basically mid point. Again my personal preference would be Ionity as they are x4 and way faster but if you're casual user ESB will do.

You should get to Gort, can you granny charge at your accommodation?

then on the way home you could charge somewhere like Athlone
