Hi. I’m looking for a quote to remove a load bearing wall between kitchen and living room. Will require a steel beam installed and the removal of two radiators either side of the wall. Any rough quotes/estimates/recommendations of builders appreciated. I live in East Meath

    You might post here: https://www.boards.ie/categories/prices-costs

I would expect it to cost in the order of €5,000. However, that is very dependent on the work, any consequent changes (where to put the radiators, changes to kitchen layout, redecoration, etc.) availability of contractors. It might be useful to draw a sketch, including dimensions.

Thanks Viktor. Are you a builder or is there one you could recommend?
