After my woes with Mavic USTs I'm on the hunt for something more traditional that just takes a plain old over-engineered rims that make for tight tyre-play considered!

Don't mind going back a few years if there is decent life in the wheels. Don't need carbon, but let me not be hasty if there's a nice set of carbon/laminate rims out of favour somewhere!

Fancied something from DT Swiss but all their modern rims are tubeless-ready it seems.

Superstar Components make a mean rim, unfortunately being UK-based rules them out for a new purchase, plus they seem to have supply chain challenges and no stock right now. Shame, as I have a set of their Pavé 28 clinchers and they're light & fast. If anyone has a set I'd be interested.
