Garden projects using Pallets

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has undertaken any garden projects using pallets?

I am looking at making a corner sofa and table from pallets. Hoping it will be hard-wearing and will take abuse from the gang at home!

You'll find plenty of examples on Pinterest. Also the fab Baste barbeque restaurant made all their tables out of pallets. (He runs Big Grill festival too and might have them there - Google Baste barbeque and click images)

I used 20 pallets as a base for a deck. (Still in good nick 3 years later) and now about to use some as a base for a turf shelter allowing air circulation.

Pallet sofa now almost complete so just wondering if anyone has purchased cushions for use on a pallet sofa?

I've seen stuff like this on Amazon but unsure of the quality.

Without wanting to be a party pooper be careful that the pallets you’re using haven’t been sprayed. Some pallets are treated with potentially carcinogenic protectants etc

Great advice this. Red and Blue pallets are to be avoided IIRC
