Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

Booked flights to Edinburgh start of August for family. Staying for 3 nights. Most places except hostels or at least 250 a night and generally even more.

Any advice? Or recommend somewhere outside centre but still gives good city centre access.

    Thanks

Edinburgh is expensive at the best of times, but especially so when the Festivals & Military Tattoo are on.

Anywhere out around Murrayfield / beyond is on the airport bus route so should be well served.

Yes hotel prices can triple during the August festival season as demand is so high.

Lots of BNB's and hotels on the Newington road - it is well served by buses.

There is a Travelodge at the end of the road (close to Cameron Toll)
