Army reserves fitness

    Hello,

I have a medical exam for the army reserve on June 18th. I’m okay with everything else but the running. My current time is 1.5 miles in 16:21 minutes which means I’ll have to reduce my time by almost a minute each day. I applied in almost 2 months ago but only received a phone call to come to Athlone on the 9th. I’m worried that if I reschedule to give myself more time that I won’t receive another opportunity. Is there any tips that could help me achieve this difficult task?

    Thank you,

    James

    Medical is not fitness test.

You still have time to train.

Run 2 miles every morning. That should get your time down and build fitness with consistancy.
