Pharmacy Dublin Airport T2?

Does anyone know whether the pharmacy in T2 is still open? It seems to have disappeared from the list of shops on the DA website. Was hoping to buy suncream there on the way out, so that I can travel handluggage only. I know there is a Boots in T1, but I'd rather not have to go all that way, especially if there's been a long queue to even get through security.

Why not buy it at your destination, can't be that expensive surely

In certain beach resorts, you’d be shocked to see just how much they charge!

Yes, was hoping to avoid the insane cost that seems to happen in beach resorts. But also, one of the family has particularly sensitive skin, so was hoping to make sure I get a familiar brand that we know doesn't cause issues.

Worst case I'll just bring lots of mini suncream for her in the carry on and buy the rest for us over there.

There was no pharmacy that I could find when I was there a couple of weeks ago.

But the WH Smith (I think, some newsagent anyway) had stands of all that airport pharmacy type stuff, including one dedicated to suncreams.

I don't know if you'd find any unusual brands, but there were plenty available.

I think there is one in the arrivals in T2 but could be mistaken, but there is a good selection of sun creams in the shops when you get through security.

Thanks HeidiHeidi and paul - Whatever is in the shops there will do the rest of the family, and I'll have to see if I can carry enough small sun creams in hand luggage for the sensitive one, on the off chance they don't have a good option for her. Pretty dreadful not to have a pharmacy in the whole terminal...

What brand are you looking for? In case I can remember if it was there or not.

Thanks HeidiHeidi. I'm pretty sure the Ambre Solaire Sensitive one is ok for her, and if you can by any chance remember any other 50+ sensitive ones that were there, we can do a trial run of them before we go. (It's been so long since we've been away in the sun, that I need to re-try them anyway, because we've noticed that what she might be able to tolerate in an Irish summer, is very different to multiple coats of something every single day for a couple of weeks)

The pharmacy is closed in T2, however their is a new boots under construction, not sure when it’ll be ready. WHSmith stocks suncream in T2

Thanks vegandinner. Probably won't be open in time for my trip in a week or so, but good to know a boots is coming for future trips.

    Jumping in here

Does the Boots in terminal 1 stock full size soltan sun creams or just the small 100ml?

Deciding whether to buy in advance or at airport after security. Cheers

Can confirm that Boots in T1 has full size bottle of Soltan, bought one a few weeks ago.

No sorry, was just the regular Soltan bought. But they had mainly normal sized bottles, only travel sized was in the travel section, so imagine they have it.
