The Last of Us Multiplayer

Some details on this finally dropped from the horses Neil Druckmann's mouth.

What was originally the multiplayer for TLOU2 evolved into a much larger, standalone game - apparently as big as any other Naughty Dog game - with its own story and new characters.

Here's the concept art released today, showing infected roaming the streets of San Francisco, and players working together.

This could be really really special. Factions is still one of the best multiplayer games out there but it was so limited. That tacked on with pve, base building, surviving and ongoing story could just be epic. Hands down my most hyped game adjust for 23, just wish we got some more details on it.

I'm not sure if confirmed but i highly doubt Factions will be part of TLOU 1 remake which would be such a pity as it would give players a taster of their multiplayer but I'm sure they'd rather a full team working on the new one.

Something like Tarkov in TLOU's universe could work well.

It'll probably be microtransactioned to death.

Yeah, I'm interested to see their approach to that side of it. With it being Sony's first foray into GaaS, they may take a more conservative approach... But the pessimist in me says capitalism's gonna capitalism.
