Juts a quick query, we have a very early flight from Dublin Airport T2, we have booked holiday Red car park. According to Google maps it is only a 12 minute walk. I think I would nearly prefer to walk rather than hang around for a bus. But is it possible/safe to walk? Are there footpaths etc? Thanks in advance!

Yes, before covid I regularly did it during lunch . (Well from T2 to ALSAA beside the car park)

it’s more than 12 minutes if you are towards the back. Traffic lights and footpaths all the way

Thanks for the reply Ted, how long would you think it would take to walk on average?

There are some far flung corners of the red car park, although it probably seems further when you're driving it.

I would allow minimum 20 minutes but no more than 30 minutes walk from deep within the red car park.

We've often had very early flights and never has to wait for a bus. There is usually a bus, or two, at the central stop. Might be a wait when you're on the bus but preferable to lugging everything on a pre-dawn walk
