Anyone know the cost for a single eye? A relative is getting it done at a private hospital as waiting list is so long. I'd like to help out, does anyone know the cost ?

Honestly not sure what it costs here but I recently had a cataract removed in Belfast under the Cross Border Directive.

It cost £2,095 plus £130 for the initial consultation. I expect to get around €1,750 back from the HSE
