Can anyone recommend any tips or websites to get a last minute holiday, flexible on dates in July and open to any destination? Had to cancel our holiday meant to fly out yesterday and now to rebook the cost has skyrocketed, Would be open to litreally flying the next day to grab a bargain...thanks

There can be some good deals on the UK website Holiday Pirates, it will usually involve departure through a UK airport but even factoring that in can be cheaper than leaving here...

Thanks I've 3 kids from 8 down in tow, I'll keep an eye on that sight might get lucky with something out of Belfast.

Can't believe how prices have gone up so much, looking for all inclusive her indoors is demanding it which isn't really helping..

Any idea when TUI upload the deals to their website?

Yes prices gone crazy, I was looking at flights in August for Spain and it is a fair bit cheaper than June and July, I didn't check accommodation.

Check out lastminute.ie site as well. Just checked prices from Dub to Paris flying out on Thursday for a week - flights & apartment are approx. €500 pp. Seems very cheap, so you might find something that suits.

Have a look at the reviews lately from TUI!!! Had one of the worst experiences with them two weeks ago, suppose to pay out on compensation in 14days, two weeks later their still saying they cant find us on the manifest, Great when booking with them, but when anything goes wrong your on ýour own, they dont have the staff to man the planes, last sat flight from cancelled outright, peoples holidays gone by text, many flights from dublin delayed or cancelled to the next day, don't waste your money, to much stress for a young family.

Just had this exact experience with Tui, an absolute nightmare with kids in tow.

Outgoing flight cancelled, second outgoing flight delayed. Sat on runway for almost 2 hours after finally boarding the delayed flight.

Return flight also delayed. Then 2 hours waiting for luggage at the carousel last night. Finally got home around 4am, great craic with two small kids onboard.

The pilot flying the return journey was also standing in for the crew and running through pre flight safety etc.

An absolute disgrace of a company, you could not pay me to take a Tui holiday again!

We booked the holidays with TUI flights were with Turkish Airlines though and not their own planes, was looking at the departures and it seemed to leave on time. We've used them before and had good experiences.

The last minute deals deals do look good on the website, if we were willing to fly tomorrow we'd have all inclusive in Ibiza for €550pp, that's really good.

Aiming for last 2 weeks in July so thinking of holding and book a couple of days before departures. Hopefully insurance refunded soon.

    Use Google Flights.

leave destination blank and you’ll get the best priced available to several destinations

Check out the reviews for Lastminute.ie/com - not much better than TUI.

I've used them a bunch of times over the years and never had a problem. But yeah, just had a quick look and they do seem to have some "issues", to put it mildly. Fair point.
