Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

His picture graced many a men's barber shop in Dublin in the day. Not a fella for the gee - gee's myself, I know that he and Gay Byrne were good hob nobs too.

    Legend, legend, legend. RIP

In my opinion, the greatest jockey ever. he won everything.

Even at the age of 54, he came out of retirement to ride Royal Academy, for Vincent O'Brien, in the 1990 Breeders' Cup Mile - and won!

Really difficult to find the right words to do him justice just an amazing jockey always wanted to win too many iconic moments to list especially round Epsom .A genuine legend was lucky enough to have seen him riding R I P Lester .
