Is my battery banjaxed?

    This probably should be in the boating forum but it's dead there. Better mechanical/electrical knowledge here anyway. Have a RIB with a 60hp Yamaha 4 stroke engine. Battery and engine worked fine last weekend. Totally flat this morning so brought battery home. I may have forgotten to switch on isolator so maybe something drained the battery all week. No idea how old the battery is. On a good quality charger for the last 5 hours and showing 12.2 Volts. It is charging but only showing 1 bar for that 5 hours. Do batteries just give up the ghost?
