    Hello,

I am going to buy a cable to connect my device and I do not understand the types.

I’m not familiar with this, consider choosing CAT5e or CAT6.

I searched on Google and saw a blog, is it true or not?

Can anyone advise me and tell me why?

    Thank you in advance.

If you are looking just to connect your PC or printer to ethernet socket then 5e and 6 will do the same thing and both will give you 1gig speeds. Cat6 is a newer standard that will give you 10gig speed. If you are wiring a house get Cat6 it will future proof you.
