    Hello,

Would someone be able to advise me on what part has broken off the rear of my car. Unfortunately I've no knowledge in this department. Pictures attached. Thanks.

Looks like a trailing arm broken away

There is such severe rusting that there is more potential damage underneath.

Yeah that's the rear trailing arm that's separated from the bush. I'd get that repaired immediately and I personally would only be driving that car to the garage and nowhere else, the rear trailing arm has a very important job (connecting the chassis with the axle) and is extremely dangerous to be driving with it completely detached.

It looks like damage has been done, look at how far away the wheel is from the wheel arch, please do be very careful with that and get it repaired immediately, likely that both sides need to be done.

Looks like a field car under there,I'd be 100% sure a lot more suspension components will be rusted to f3ck and dangerous on that yoke.

Ya definitely do not drive, that wheel is already about 100mm more forward than the opposite side

Is that a Toyota Corolla? If it is the rear axle is fooked.

Jesus I haven't seen a car like that since the early 80s, scrapyard job I'd imagine or hope...
