Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I’m looking for a chronograph that works with CF, RF and air rifle. The less cables and setup the better. Thinking about Magnetospeed V3 and Caldwell G2.

What do you guys use and recommend?

    Thanks, LH.

I used my mates magnetospeed v3 a few times on my centrefire and rimfire rifles and it is very good.

Its easy enough to set up and it will give accurate readings in all weather conditions.

That’s good to know. They’re a bit pricey but I suppose you get what you pay for.

I've a Pro Chrono dlx sitting in a box and don't reload so take this for what it's worth.

I don't believe one can load develop with a magnetospeed, it changes barrel harmonics. That may not be an issue for you though. And I'm sure a reloader would be aware of that but may be something to note if it's a direction you are thinking of going.

First they came for the socialists...

Thanks Feisar. I’m not a reloader and just want to build up a few ballistic profiles

I have the Caldwell Precision (not the G2) and it works well. It never failed to read a shot (223 and 243).

It has the extra light sources but I never found the need to switch them on.
