Best (least expensive , safest) way to purchase US stocks

Can anyone recommend which is the best way to purchase US stocks? I am looking at safety, lowest commission etc. Is revolut a good option? any recommendations welcome. thank you!

Interactive brokers would be cheaper then revolut

Not sure what you mean by safest, but cheapest is probably interactive brokers, although the platform is slightly more advanced. The likes of Trading 212 or Revolut are probably easier to use if you're starting off.

Would highly recommend Trading212. It has CFD as well as investing, not that I would recommend options trading but at least you have that option. Almost no fees, there's a very low FX fee, something like 0.1% and there's some fee for certain deposits over £2000 but there's no commission or trades.

Interactive Brokers is your best bet. The likes of Trading212 is ok if you're just starting out with small sums of money but I wouldn't put large amounts into brokers like them, the amount of times there's been issues and they change 'rules' is ridiculous.

The desktop version of interactive brokers is better. I mainly use the app for checking my balances, but I use the desktop site to do any trades. The app is also used as your 2FA for logging in.

Yep that's the one. Perfectly safe, I use the desktop mainly and just check orders etc on the app, the app works fine too there's no problems with it and I'm Android.

How much more expensive is Degiro? I thought degiro were low ballers.....I don't trade a lot, btw.
