Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Moving back to Ireland from UK

    Hi,

    I'm hoping to move back to Ireland with my young family.

    I was hoping for some advice from (perhaps someone who has also moved back after years away, would be good to hear your experience in general in settling in back home)

    We have property to sell in UK and will need to buy a house in Ireland (Galway) to move into (if we can find a 4 bed within our budget). We need to know how much to set aside for moving costs etc so if anyone can help with an estimate for the below, it'd be much appreciated

    - cost of moving van (3 bed house)

    - conveyancing fees

    - stamp duty

    - cost of survey before buying house

    - anything not covered above
