Hi Folks, I understand that 2 additional weks of parents leave are to come on stream in July 2022. Can anybody confirm that it will be permissable to take a weeks parents leave with the child turning 2 on the Thursday of the same week? HD

You have to take it before they turn two.
Example: if the child turns two on the Thursday your last day of entitlement would be the Wednesday so you could take the last week from the previous Thursday (when the child is 1yr and 51wks old to the day before their second birthday)
if you call the help line they’re very helpful.
