Kerbs on front house

Hi , I am planning to lay down kerbs , which is better for bungalow ? 7 x 4 half battered pre-cast kerb or 10 x 5 half battered pre-cast kerb? Another question is how high should I leave kerbs? should I go 10cm below final surface in future? or go with curreent level ?I probably will do taramac next year or 2 . Thanks
