Is a 08 focus windscreen the same as a 2012

Lads does anyone know if the windscreen on an older model 2008 the same as a 2012? I've no windscreen cover on my policy n I can get a windscreen out of a 2008 for free. Thanks in advance.

08 up to 2011 or so is the same.

2012 would be an all new car and so not fit.

Anyway, you would need to get it bonded in etc so hardly worth the hassle of going secondhand.

No, a 2012 model would be a newer model to a 2008 model so they are not interchangeable.

Also the windscreen in some Focus models are heated while lower spec ones are not so that's another thing you need to check for when looking second hand.

Just copped my car is actually 2011! I know a lad who does scrap cars and he has an 08 one at the mo. Sure I'll go over with the measuring tape n see if similar.

The missus needs a new one n has windscreen cover so was gonna ask the lads to throw mine in while they're here n throw them a few quid.

I done one before with a polish lad n we got it done handy enough. Them boys would have it done in no time.

I really should get windscreen cover!

The newer model was lauched in 2011 so you will have both the older and newer models registered in that year.
