So if you had a choice between the new Kia Sportage or the Citroen C5-X and they are both the same

Price and roughly the same size the Citroen being a bit longer. Which would you pick?

I would go for the Citroen C5-X myself. I must say it has really grown on me. Yes it has one or two niggles but that just helps to give the car character.

It is also the better looking of the two cars but they are both good cars and both very classy.

It really depends on weather you want an SUV or a classy big car with the most comfortable ride outside of an S-Class Mercedes.

I’d buy a Tiguan or Tarraco. Classy interiors and good resale value.

Couldn’t handle the stigma of driving a Kia.

It's remarkable how you can tell who starts these threads without even having to look at a username

So a boring SUV then. What stigma of driving a Kia?

I was in a Kia E-Soul the other day. It was like being on a flying carpet it was that smooth and handled so well 450km range and only needs to be charged once a week. Its a great car and so are the Sportage. But your loss.

You could have less SUVs on the roads if more people bought the Citroen.

Now youv'e only gone and done it.

This thread had nicely died prematurely, now it will just become another facebook themed conversation where the OP won't understand why others don't share his/her choice of cars.

I'd buy the Citroen if I wasn't spending my own money.

If I was paying myself, I couldn't answer as I wouldn't be looking anywhere in the direction of either of them.
