Flight from London to Melbourne changed Qantas

    Hi all,

    Just looking for advice on this my flight got changed from a direct flight from London to Melbourne in prem economy to a longer one to Sydney then a transfer down to Melbourne.

    The thing is on this new flight the long haul I am unable to select my seats other than seat preference for aisle or window.

    I rang Qantas a few times on this and am getting the run around, I explained it would be better for me to have an aisle due to my medical condition of UC and the original flight I had a window aisle with my partner.

    Customer support are not being that helpful saying they raised a request etc etc but no confirmation no email , I was also told to try a week before the flight. As it's blocked their end, Also told to alert them at the check in desk to Heathrow.

    It just seems a pain that they aren't willing to accommodate me due to my condition at all really.
