So scanner picked thru up what appears to be a rather common issue in Mercedes A Class. No other codes, & I've had a look on you tube on the replacing of the thermostat, tbh I’m confused tho. If it’s so difficult and rather time consuming, why can’t it be accessed from beneath the car? I get you’d need a car lift to do…

So scanner picked thru up what appears to be a rather common issue in Mercedes A Class. No other codes, & I've had a look on you tube on the replacing of the thermostat, tbh I’m confused tho. If it’s so difficult and rather time consuming, why can’t it be accessed from beneath the car?
I get you’d need a car lift to do that, but in theory it should be possible if getting the bottom/floor of the engine bay off relatively easy.
