Looking to source some touring bits to set up a bike for a Ukrainian bike tourer

    Hi Guys,

I offered a lend of my bike to a Ukrainian guy who has landed here and is hoping to do a tour around the coast while he is here. He has a lot of touring experience and seems to know what he needs.

I've never done a tour on the bike but used it regularly with the rear rack and panniers for getting to work and back. So half way there in terms of set up, just need to get a few smaller bits to get the outfit set up for him.

Looking to get hold of the following:

Comfy saddle - the one on the bike at the moment is fine for my ass, but anyone else who has ever used the bike / same saddle on another bike has cursed it to the depths of hell ;-).

Flat pedals - have single sided spds on it at the moment so nice to have rather than must have

Handlebar bag - not sure if these are universal. It's a flat bar with bar ends on it

Front pannier rack and panniers. I've no idea how these work as I've never toured. The bike is a 26" steel frame mtb with steel forks and mudguard eyelets, if that makes any difference.

Small tool kit / multi tool and pump for touring - I have a track pump which i don't think is practical for a tour :-)

Let me know if you have anything that would fit the bill. I'm in North Wicklow / South Dublin and hoping to get the bike to him in about a week.

Not looking to spend big bucks, but happy to part with a few quid if it means the guy can get around in comfort.

I have a tent, sleeping mat, sleeping bag and stove for him, but if there is anything that experienced tourers think is necessary let me know.

    Thanks all.

Looks like i might have got sorted for pedals, saddle, pump.

Just looking for a front rack/bags and a bar bag. If there's nothing available I'll order some from planet x.

    Thanks all.
