Father Stu - Movie starring Mark Walhberg

If you haven't heard "Father Stu" is a faith based film(obviously) starring Mark Wahlberg and Mel Gibson. From all accounts its really good and not cringe (which lets be honest, sometimes Christan films are). Its a true story and it hits theatres this weekend. Please go see this one, theres so few Christian films made by major studios(in this case Sony)that when one is produced we gotta make sure its successful so as to motivate the studios to back more films of this type. Hollywood produces so many movies that have nothing to do with God(and a lot that are openly antagonistic to God) and I feel that the balance needs to be shifted somewhat. Anyway please support this film, its meant to be good and if its successful there'll be more like it.

What I've heard of it suggests it'd be good. I will try see in the cinema, but haven't gone to the cinema in years.

Cheers. It's not just something that we should see to be good Christians, it has gotten positive word of mouth and is supposed to be very entertaining.

So I saw Father stu earlier today and it is indeed very good. Mark walhberg is absolutely brilliant in it. Mel Gibson is good as is Malcolm mcdowell. Definitely worth a trip to the cinema

Hmmm, not according to Netflix, which doesn't seem to list it in its top 10. See https://top10.netflix.com/ Possibly on limited release in the USA only for now.

It's already dropped to number 6 in the US. I guess it's just not as good as Morbius.
