Fact Or Fable 4/1 in the 4.40 Wol is not doing it for me. For me, he has a poor draw in seven. Think he either needs to lead, or be in mid-div going shortest way round, to have a chance. The horses drawn inside in boxes 2, 3 and 6 might like to lead. I don't see Fact Or Fable lead, and I think he'll find it hard to get in here. He has come placed three or four times over C/D and won once, but all from boxes 1 and 2. Anytime he's been drawn middle or high he hasn't placed. Will see what price he is for 3 and 4 places to try lay him..

One who I think can go well is GONZAGA 7/1, and I'm going e/w on this 27 race maiden. A bit quirky, but I feel this is as good a chance as he has had. Drawn wide in stall 10, so must be held up, and he has gone close before using similar tactics. Isobel Francis takes off 7lbs. This one will do me without overconcerning myself with the other protagonists. Hoping there's good pace, Isobel gets rail at back, and field thins out when it's time to come for a run.

    Good Luck 🤣 🤣

GONZAGA is in my alerts too 🤣 I backed him lto to run into places as he's done good few times, but not the time my money was on him. I think I leave it be this time. That race is basically point and shoot sort of pick...

I don't have time for this today at all (bloody work), so 3 grabbed quickies from my notebook to keep myself entertained throughout the day:

    1:40 Wolves - Fristel 6/1

    2:20 Ham - Queen's Fair 11/4

5:00 Rosc, yeah, irish racing lol - The Pargee Bee 5/2.

    Good luck and have fun.

I also fancy Punda Maria in 8:10 Windsor but I've already have 3 bets down, enough.

Lovely winner there on Queen's Fair j@utis 😊 - some drift from around 2s early, all the way out to 9/2!

Money has come for Gonzaga and I hope it proves to be correctly placed 🤣 Fact Or Fable on the drift, so no likee no layee for place(s) at his current odds.

Think there's enough reasons to be against Noel Meade's The Model Kingdom, as she's in a flat race, and down in trip two furlongs from her three (winning) bumper 'flat' races - laid her at 1.8, which I'm happy with.

The Model Kingdom is drawn high here (11), and going on previous runnings, high numbers only really win this when the going is good. Another reason to be cheerful. Might do a place lay as well.

Joey O'Brien's STARTEDWITHAKISS showed a liking for soft on her third and second last runs when running on over shorter trips than today's. Her lto run at Sligo saw her run on not quite soft ground over a furlong shorter. I think she didn't have the best of draws that day, and wasn't disgraced in coming third. Have backed her at 4.3 which looks an okay price. Drawn in stall 8 looks a bit of a negative tbs

Oh yeah, the place and time: Rosc 6.30

that/those will do me for now

    good luck !

SWALLOWDALE is 16/1 in the last at Windsor, am scratching my head. Maybe she's not expected to stay. Anyway, e/w for me.

Also taking a massive flyer on GERT LUSH 25s there - don't really know why; maybe I'm thinking the good to firm ground gives the 5 yrs old mare hope 🤣

A lot of these, by my reckoning, will probably go off quick; although when it looks like that on the formbook, the race itself often has a different complexion.

Laid CRYSTAL DELIGHT in 7.30 purely because 8/13 looks waay too small, surely he can improve, but so can everything else. Gone for DUBAI LEADER e/w there at just over 6s.

Only just waking up now 🤣 Was torn between going to bed and watching snooker last night. No way to record [not that that would have mattered] on the Beeb's 'Red Button' , so I was compelled to watch. Was on Jim at almost 3s early in the day, before the semis, and he only loses a first to five affair in the final from 4-2 up ☹️ I don't blame Jim - there's no way he could have known I backed him 😂 Sure no one on here cares, but it's cathartic to 'share' 😁

No joy at Wolves - Gonzaga never hot involved

In 7.30 at the midlands venue - hup the Rossies! I think it's a point n shoot type (to rob another poster's line ☺️) job.

Gone for one of DP Hogan's (I counted three)SAY IT SO 14s e/w , one of Meade's (two for him in this) ALICE DIAMOND 9s win , and another e/w pick in SALLY GOLIGHTLY 4/1 with top jock Colin Keane on board - very interesting to me that Colin is not on one of Noel's. But, like I said before, I don't put a lot of account (generally) into that type of thing - as 'stable jocks' etc are chopping and changing and all that jazz 🙂

If I spent two hours on this race, I'd likely still have it down as a veritable lottery. A mile and half on soft-heavy (now) ground - was soft on 'racecard' - with horses that can't really have any solid cases made for them under the overall race conditions (or maybe they could if someone applied themselves better 🙄

Managed to 'get the fav beat' in last race at Rosc, and got the winner too. Happy out ☺️

Will likely do no more today. Watching a bit of Sky Sports and apparently Derek 'tommo' Thompson was doing some 'lurching' commentary between races 😲 thought that was against the law 😃 Maybe I'm thinking of some other similar activity involving dogs that's not allowed 🙂

    good luck

Hogan's in England, so a lil e/w done on Heatherdown Hero for 'Ding Dong' in this 7.40 also

In the 8,10 Gert Lush faded - was in front out wide on her own at the furlong marker - I thought she had a pretty decent chance 1.5 furlongs out, but a non-stayer at this 11 and a bit trip. Swallowdale was never involved - wouldn't have backed the 9/2winner Candy Kitchen from Michael Bell's stable anyway. A massive plunge - someone KNEW !! Was 14s earlier that one.

    til next time

    good luck all 🤣
