Simpsons RTE 2 advert from 2004

Hello there about a couple of months ago I came across a post on this website from 2004. The post in question was about a Simpsons RTE2 advert promoting the show "Simpsons" as a local fan of Simpsons myself and grew up watching reruns on RTE, I knew I had to track it down and see it for myself. Most of the replies to said post were honestly pretty negative AND IM ALL FOR IT since it sounded horrible. Anyways for months looking for it with no success I thought I might as well ask here to see if anyone had a recording of it they may have taped. If anyone does have said recording please upload it because the advert is currently lost media.

It's mad how off the wall RTE 2 continuity was around the 2000s, check out this clip - specifically the intro to the weather at 1 minute 23 seconds!

That was the N2 era, from 1997-2004, when the channel strove to run as far away from the RTE brand as possible and be a “youth” channel which apparently meant strange futuristic idents and end caps proclaiming everything an “N2 Production” or “N2 Presentation”.

Honestly, RTE 2 back then feels like if the graphic designers for cartoon network at the time got hired to make stuff for RTE and to design their logo. I LOVE IT

That was a bit earlier, from RTE’s original 1995 corporate look that saw RTE One and Network 2 look similar for the first time in a decade (and before the N2 era made them radically different again for the guts of another decade). Mind you that wasn’t one of the idents (which were done around the theme of fire, water, and ice - the first time RTE ever had multiple idents for one of its channels) - it was more like a station promo of sorts.
