Where would be a good place to go for live music on a Saturday night? Cover music preferably that would cover a variety of genres. Not trad music or anything like that. It would be for a large group of 15-20. Thanks, been years since I've been out in KK.

You missed a good weekend during the last bank holiday with the R & R festival on in town although the weather wasn't the best. Your best bet might be to check the facebooks of a few pubs and see if they have any acts booked for the weekend as they are usually actively updated.

Check out Ryans, normally very good for live music. Cleeres sometimes have something on down the back too.

Most of the rest of the pubs would be traditional music for the tourists.

On a similar topic, does anyone know of any clubs with DJs that play good dance music (house, electro or similar)? Even just venues that host occasionally. Had a good look online and came up with zip
