Anyone managed to get a EHIC for their children ?

I have one myself, but I can't seem to apply for one for my daughter. From the EHIC website:

If you already have an EHIC, you can also apply for other family members online. You must enter your own details first and apply for any additional cards when prompted.

Well, I don't get prompted for anything when I put in my details other than that the website recognises I already have one.

A simple button - "apply here for family members" would be handy. However I am sure there must be people that have succeeded.

Anyone with a hint ? Thanks

Update that might be useful for someone in the same boat down the line..

Found no other way than to print the form on the HSE website and send to local HSE office.

Got it back with request for proof of PPS number, address and date of birth. Called them to understand what would qualify. Just send form back with below.

    • Proof of PPS - copy of the original letter with PPS number received when child was born
    • Proof of address - if address is unchanged , the above letter. If address has changed - utility bill of the parent
    • Proof of DOB - Copy of passport.

Just for future reference, renewals can definitely be done online for all family members
