The house is a new built with water to air heat pump, heated floors and no radiators on the ground floor.

I am being told that both laminate and tiles can be fitted.

Which floors are better with under floor heating? will laminated floors be a good option?

    Thanks!

We have electric underfloor heating with various floor coverings.

    Tiles are best.

Laminate is almost as good - must use appropriate underlay.

Timber (engineered) is next best - also appropriate underlay.

We have carpets in several rooms. It's ok but not great. See carpet manufacturers recommendations.
