I fondly remember having these in the garden when I was just a wee snapper. If you took a bite out of one it would blow the head off ya

The shop bought ones are tasteless auld things. Bland as feck in comparison and probably forced out of the ground in some supermassive corporate growing complex.

Now I'm willing to bet if I went to the quay coop or some other hipster establishment and paid through the nose for some fairtrade organic hand-picked artisan ones they'd probably have a bit of flavour alright. But why do people keep buying these tasteless shop bought ones? Do they not realise they're contributing to the race to the bottom through their actions?
