Passport and bench warrant Ireland

Want to get a passport for first time so have to get Garda to sign the form I've a old bench warrant... Will they look me up on pulse or just look at my photo ID and pictures I mean do they look on the computer to see if im wanted was nothing to bad just driving no tax insurance
