Looking to clad an old shed, and need about 10 lengths of shiplap/tongue groove timber.

I only have a golf, and hate cutting timber to make it fit in the car.

Can anyone recommend delivery for what is a small amount, I'm in galway area. B&Q sell more manageable lengths, but I always feel they are ripping me off.

Any local hardware or builder / providers ?

Can you cut them at source to roughly match the lengths you need for the shed ?

I can cut at source, but its never as neat being rushed in the place with cars and would require a few trips, I don't like the long planks hanging out the boot on a bumpy road for any distance.

    I found 4.5m tongue & groove for €15, last time I bought it , it was €11 :(

Where around Galway are you? O'Higgins or McDonagh's in the city might deliver. If it's only a few lenghts, you could ask them to deliver if they are passing where you live.

If you're happy to pay for delivery I'm sure many will be happy to deliver.

I find that the smaller or independent hardware places are more flexible with delivery options.

Chadwicks said 20 euro, for any order - not ideal, not awful, solves a once off problem and they have the material, Will try O'Higgins later

Just waiting for a delivery of ship lap myself :) €15.00 a length, I believe? €10.00 delivery. That's across the board. Bag of nails, or a truck load of gear. Local Topline.
