What’s the going rate for renting a shed now? Shed only, cattle owner provides feed and puts it in himself

It was €300-ish per bay when I priced it a few years back. That was for a slatted shed, not straw-bedded.

hmm. They’re looking for €180 per bay per month. Now they’re big bays. (16’ 6” slats) but that seems a bit pricey to me?

That's closer to the mark around here. Know of 1 @1000 a bay and owner of shed allows his tractor to be used for feeding and keeps the slurry.

Another is 500 a bay cash.

You would put about 16 stores. Per bay so 11.25/ animal. I was nearly feeding them for a fortnight last winter.

That would cost 3.6k for a 4 bay shed for a five month winter or 56/ head for stores
