Turning motorised blinds 'smart'

I'm looking to buy a good few battery operated motorised roller blinds from a well known online company. The only snag is they are only remote control operated.

I've priced 'smart' blinds from a local company and the prices were ridiculously high.

Has anyone ever converted a normal motorised blind into a smart/app operated unit and if so what equipment would you recommend.

    Thanks

A Sonoff will do the trick.

If the remote control is wireless you may be able to control them with one of Broadlink's RM Pro devices or similar.
