Batteries !!

    Does anybody do anything here to prolong the lifetime of batteries in devices they don't regularly use... e.g. leave them 50-80% charged and check every 6 months ...

    For me, I'm talking about 2DS XL, Wii U GamePad, Wii U Pro Controller ...

    Also, it looks like it's impossible to buy suitable batteries from abroad ... certainly Amazon UK, Germany don't seem to want to ship them here.

    I'm not too bothered so long as it's possible to circumvent the battery at some stage and leave the device connected to the mains. But some devices may not easily allow this "passthrough".
