Had a look at Wolves and thought the opener, a 2m amateur handicap, would give me a few likely ones.... Could only rule 3 out, from 13 declared 😂 think the 3 ruled out were no's 1, 11 & 12,,, poor enough ruling out even by my standards,,

anyroad, decided to look elsewhere, and, to get ball rolling, CELCIUS 14 to 1 in probable is a good yardstick in 5.10 Ascot,,, Multiple winner over 5f trip, likes good ground, has went close without winning before over CD in Class 3s, absence shouldn't be a problem,,, ticks a lot of boxes, and, as well as that, this Class 4 sprint will be the lowest grade Tom Clover's 6yr old takes part in since winning a Class 5 at Donny in July '19,,,

    that's all 4now

    7.25 Musselburgh

MOKAMAN ~ 15/2 win Has a few good turf runs from around April to June of last year, including a win over 5f on good to firm at Catterick,,, pretty much out of form since last June, but his lto 4th at Catterick from a poor looking draw, did seem a return to form... only four yrs and his trainer Grant Tuer is due a win,,,

The ~ 10/3 fav The Gloaming surely needs softer,, don't know if it's raining, or expected to over there, but it's hard to see her involved without cut in ground,, The ~ 7/2 2nd fav Elzaal has had plenty of chances and is yet to win,,, another one I'd rather be against,, On the plus side, he, like The Gloaming have favourable high draws,,, possible place lays these two if they don't drift...

outsider pick ANGEL EYES ~ 40/1 e/w is a 37 race maiden, but not bereft of a claim here,, could try make all from her high draw

Two short ones for me today: 1:35 Wolves - Pangloss 5/2 with plenty of experience that should help to get his head in front; 1:50 Ascot - Tahitian Prince 4/1 who racked up a pile of good runs just before signing off last season and might just continue where he left off, he's on career high mark but the claimer jockey offsets that.

think something beats the well supported Pangloss in that 1.35 Wolves,, am liking the top one there, the CD winning Boulivar @ 10/3

    e/w trix with Boulivar 1.35 W , Ciel De Neige 7.05 P and American Mike 6.30 P

me and j@utis and threadreaders could do a lot worse than back/have a luuke at BBOB ALULA ~ 10/1 in 7.15 Brighton,, goes well at the course and on top of the ground,, is a winner o'er a mile at Lingers,,, wasn't far away at the course, over 7furlongs, last August,,, come 2nd at Bath over 10f on firm last Sept, so staying a mile on turf should be nae bothr,,

    ...... imo 😃

he be a drifter, but i'm not worried about his last run,, don't think i'd like Wolves in April neither 😁

that's enough jovialiteé for nigh and enuf form studied,, things ta dee - will hope am still giggling laterer doors 😂

INNNNN the last at Brighton, me not liking the two favs Fennaan & Anglo Saxson, so me taking a punt on FO' each way ,, 😂

    BOUNTY PURSUIT 22/1 , BRECKLAND 11/1 , ESSME 12/1 , SECRET TO SUCCESS 12/1

    he who dares wins 😂

struggling to make a case for CELCIUS who's been fairly well punted for that 5.10 race,, not a great price,, i think he's staying on late in the piece, but 5f at Ascot might leave him too far back, as it's a fast track,, not scientific tho,,,

can't fault the top one MULZIM ~ 14s NB , who has good form in better races over the trip, on turf, without winning,, has won several times on the AW,,, is drifting, but will do me at a big e/w price

will chance HAN SOLO BERGER ew in same race 16s
